Just one little bite is all you need …  Piccolo Morso is Italian for Little Bite and as the very satisfied customers of Café Piccolo Morso say  "one little taste is all you need to appreciate the superior quality of food and beverages available here".

We provide the Piccolo Morso total taste experience. And as the flavorsome word spreads, the customers keep on coming and so the team of experienced and highly passionate pastry chefs keep on doing what they love….baking and baking and……creating!

Piccolo Morso Kiosk

 

 

The former First Aid room of the FSLC has been converted into Taranaki's first beachfront kiosk. There is also a separate patio area with tables and moon chairs. Overall it can seat up to 30 and future development includes upgrading the current indoor space for customers. The Piccolo Morso Kiosk is right on the Coastal Walkway enabling easy access to passers-by for great food and Supreme coffee. A bonus is the closeness to the sea and the sound of the ocean rolling in for a relaxing destination. It is open 7 days from 8am till 6pm.

 

Other things you can expect to see at the seaside stall include the newspaper, milk and freshly baked Italian sour dough bread and baguettes. Something special that has proven successful is the fresh tempura chicken tenders and hot crinkle cut chips with yummy Japanese mayo.

 

Breakfast is available with choices including muesli and yoghurt, fruit toast, almond croissants, Danishes and other pastries. There is a variety of freshly baked Muffins and hot savouries like mini pies, sausage rolls, quiches and salads served with sesame dressing.

 

The Supreme coffee beans are available at the Kiosk and current Piccolo Morso Coffee Card holders can use their reward cards at both venues. The Iced drinks go down a treat after a brisk walk on a hot day. Flavours include Coffee, Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, Caramel and Banana.

 

Lou and Rob welcome new and existing customers to their exciting new venture on the beachfront.
